What people say about us

CLIENTS
“They do so much for the local community. I encourage anyone to volunteer and see how great the need is and how grateful those served are to have this organization here in Round Rock. I started with them as a client and received services when I was in need and then wanted to give back. People don’t realize there are people of all ages that are homeless and trying to get back on track. Thank you for your help!”

Patrick – Client & Volunteer

STUDENTS & GROUP VOlUNTEERS

“I belong to the Highly Effective Teen program and I always enjoy volunteering at the Serving Center and The Volunteer Center. Our group has volunteered at many events, like Family Volunteer Day – we also help to sort in the food pantry and planted in the community gardens. We have to achieve at least 20 – 40+ hours a year for NHS and school and they have made it fun to give back!”

Hannah – Youth Opportunity Volunteer – The Volunteer Center Highly Effective Teen Program

VOLUNTEERS

” We love to volunteer together at the Serving Center – keeping the resale shop organized, sorting merchandise for the store and helping in the food pantry and in client services. We have enjoyed and helped with many things over the past 10 years and have been a faithful partner to the Serving Center. We give back because it keeps us young and helps so many, when we were in a time of need – they were here for us! This is a meaningful way to spend our retirement years.”
